Hey everyone. I decided to put this out since I have given away a couple of MYOs as for prizes.
Hopefully this will clear confusions on those who have received and be helpful in the future!

What is an MYO?
"MYO" means "Make Your Own" and pertains to you getting a one time use "slot." You either have been given or bought exclusive rights to make an InkMate yourself which is rather damn special because InkMates are a closed species. Many closed species do this type of practice so it's not uncommon to see. If you did not have a MYO slot, you are NOT allowed to make your own!

Whoa, so I can MAKE my OWN. Does that mean I can do ANYTHING?
No, you cannot do ANYTHING you desire. MYO slots will have restrictions to what you can use. Please pay careful attention to what type you have received or bought!

Okay, I cannot draw or do not have the capacity to design atm. Can I commission someone to design for me?
Yes, yes you can. You may have someone design it for you voluntarily or commission them. If you commission an artist, you may tack on their commission price to the MYO slot price. For example if an MYO slot cost $20 and you commissioned someone to design for $30, then you may sell the design in the future for $50. Please make sure the commissioner knows they are designing an MYO slot for you and have PROOF you commissioned them in future transactions!

I have this random design I bought or made eons ago. Can I turn that into my MYO Slot?
Yes on your random design you made eons ago but depends on the design you bought eons ago.
Contact the artist to see if they are okay with you using their design and turning it into a Closed Species.

Can I sell/trade/gift my slot when I have not made it yet?
You may NOT trade your unmade slot no matter what. That will result in you being banned from InkMates and my other species/services as well as revoked slot without refund.

Otherwise, if you have bought your slot, you may gift it or sell it for the price you bought it for. DO NOT SELL IT FOR MORE. Again, if I find you selling it for more, you will be banned.

If you have received the unmade slot as a gift, prize, etc, you may ONLY gift the unmade slot to others. DO NOT SELL IT. If I find you trying to sell your non-value slot, you will be banned.

Okay, I have made my MYO and got the approval. Can I sell or trade it?
Yes, APPROVED slots with PROOF may be sold at the price the MYO slot cost (+commission cost if you had someone else design for you). They can now be traded too.

Those who are interested in buying MYO-made, please make sure the owner has proof of their slot + my approval.

Procedure for Approval

Step 1
First of all, in order to make your own InkMate, please acquire a MYO slot by buying a slot or receiving one as a gift or prize!

Step 2
Now, you got your slot. What type of slot did you buy or receive? Check on the restrictions of your slot.




Step 3
Okay, now you are creating your new family member! There are a few things you need to do to meet the requirements besides following your slot's restrictions.

Your InkMate must be drawn full body in normal style or chibi style. OR you may do a half body + lower half reference.

Step 4
Got your InkMate finished? Now note me sonyaism your completed Inkmate for approval.
Once approved, I'll submit it into our group's folder for MYOs and please screenshot my approval for future transaction!

Step 5
Wah-lah! You did it! You got your new bae. Enjoy! : )
